Sheldon Reynolds Falls, Ricketts Glen Sp, PA
The water levels were a little on the low side, so I composed this image of just the upper section of this 36' tall waterfall.
Intimate Harrison Wright Falls, Ricketts Glen SP, PA
This intimate view helps emphasize the repeating vertical lines of the falling water along with the horizontal lines of the rock formations behind the falls.
Low Flow, Ricketts Glen SP, PA
I was disappointed with the low water flows in the park, but then I told myself that the lush green moss would have been washed away so I was quite happy to come away with a different take on Mohawk Falls.
Autumn Cascade, Ricketts Glen, SP, PA
One of many cascades along Kitchen Creek. You need to get in the water for this shot, so care must be taken on the slippery rocks.
R.B. Ricketts Falls, Ricketts Glen SP, PA
The soft light was particularly beautiful this day and I had to get a little wet to get this image as the water was trickling down my back. I have to say that it was well worth it though.

I found this interesting section of water cascading over the rocks at the base of Ganoga Falls in Ricketts Glen SP, PA.
Ozone Falls, Ricketts Glen SP, PA

Crabtree Falls, VA
I was a couple of days early to catch this rhodie in full bloom, but the color still made a nice accent for this scene.
Mohawk Falls, Ricketts Glen SP, PA
I decided to to shoot this lovely waterfall from the side to include the yellow toned autumn leaves as additional element.

Sheldon Reynolds Falls, Ricketts Glen SP, PA
Autumn in the glen is a special time as the autumn yellows frame the 36' tall Sheldon Reynolds Falls beautifully.
My favorite viewpoint of Sheldon Reynolds Falls.

A lovely autumn downstream view of Oneida Falls.
Douglas Falls, WV
My brother Mike was gracious enough to let me use his camera for this image as he was already setup while I was shooting something else. The intermittent rain helped saturate the lovely autumn color surrounding the falls.
Downstream, Douglas Falls, WV
This vantage point downstream from Douglas Falls made for a wonderful view of this picturesque waterfall.
Lower Elakala Falls, Blackwater Falls SP, WV
There was a lot of ducking, dodging, and stretching to get over rocks and downed trees to reach this beautiful waterfall; but in the end it was definitely worth the extra effort to get there.
Elakala Swirl, Blackwater Falls SP, WV
Elakala Falls is a beautiful waterfall in any season.
Blackwater Falls, Blackwater Falls SP, WV
Blackwater Falls framed by some lovely autumn color.
Muddy Douglas Falls, WV
The water was really rolling and filled with mud this particular day. There was so much mist blowing on the front of the lens that I enlisted my brother to help me with this image. After taking some test shots to get the composition and correct exposure I was all set. I stood in front of the camera and wiped the mist off the front of the lens; then quickly ducked while Mike tripped the shutter.
Muddy Elakala Falls, Blackwater Falls SP, WV
You have to climb over numerous rocks and felled trees to get down to this lovely waterfall, but it is so worth it IMO. It had rained the night before so the water flows were a bit muddy although still quite nice; in fact the best I have seen during my visits.
Adams Falls, Ricketts Glen SP, PA
The easiest waterfall to reach in the park is also one of the most beautiful.
Sabbaday Falls In The Rain
A rainy, drizzly day in the White Mountains of New Hampshire; perfect conditions for capturing some images of the beautiful Sabbaday Falls.
Elakala Swirl #2
The lovely Elakala Falls in Blackwater Falls SP in WV never disappoints although the views will be limited now that a large tree has fallen and blocked the view from downstream.
